Hayes Shoes was named in honor of our founders, and former owners; Harry and Dolores Hayes. Since it's humble beginnings in downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky, Hayes Shoes has grown to become a leading force in over 6 states. These include Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Alabama, Georgia and the Great State of Mississippi.
As Harry used to say and the golden rule "Treat others they way you would like them to treat you". This belief is at the very heart of our Core Values. We welcome our customers as though they were family, because in the end, we're all brothers and sisters and should look out for one another, always.
Hayes Shoes leads and specializes in three areas:

The Owners of Hayes Shoes are:
Russell Hayes, the 1st of 3 children who serves as Company President. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1981 with a Business Degree. Russ, as he is known by his friends quite literally grew up in the shoe business.
All of the Hayes children were taught and work or have worked in the business to some degree but none more tirelessly than Russ. His influence had been most instrumental to expand the company presence and to establish it's Mobile Store Division.
Jeffrey Hayes, Vice President and the 2nd of 3 children to take the helm. He graduated with a Business Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1985. After co-founding the Mobile Store business, Jeff has proven instrumental in product research and buying. He also is the residing company expert when it comes to technical product knowledge. His list of accomplishments are numerus but most proudly, Jeff has also developed our Bowling Green location into one of the largest Safety Shoe stores in all of Western Kentucky.
